Bass player – Songwriter – Music Educator

Daniel Zoglauer was born in 1988 in Linz and grew up in Gallneukirchen, Upper Austria, where he first picked up the electric bass at the age of 16. Largely self-taught in the beginning, his path led from private lessons and early live/studio experiences to formal music studies in Vienna.

In 2019, as co-founder of the soul-rock trio Bustafied, he won the Upper Austrian music contest "lautstark!". In the following years, he worked extensively as a live and studio musician (bass), backing vocalist, and songwriter for and with artists from all over Austria.

Of particular note is the collaboration with the Vienna-based artist Ruhmer, whose songs have achieved significant airplay success throughout the German-speaking world.

Since 2024, Daniel Zoglauer has been a permanent member of "Kapelle zum guten Ton," the live band of the Upper Austrian singer-songwriter and cabaret artist, following some studio work with **Blonder Engel**.

Also worth mentioning is the Cream Of Clapton Band's Germany tour in early 2025. As a substitute for Julia Hofer, he performed with Eric Clapton's nephew Will Johns, Noah East, and the exceptional German drummer Anika Nilles on numerous German stages.
